Do you want to potentially protect your assets now or after you have passed away?
Do you want to cancel or reduce your Inheritance Tax liability?
Do you think a beneficiary would mismanage or squander money they inherited?
Do you have a vulnerable relative you wish to provide for?

A Trust is a legal arrangement whereby the creator of the Trust transfers property to another person(s), (the Trustee(s)), to hold for the benefit of another person(s), (the beneficiary(ies)).
Trusts can be ideal for the management and protection of personal and business assets, for ensuring wealth is passed on to vulnerable beneficiaries in a controlled manner and for safeguarding family wealth for future generations.
Trusts are frequently used to address tax issues and family matters. Trusts can be created in your lifetime or by your Will.
Lifetime Trusts: you can create a Trust in your lifetime. Often assets that are no longer required by an individual are placed into the Trust to reduce their wealth. This can in turn lessen their exposure to Inheritance Tax.
Will Trusts: you can create a Trust under Will. The Trust is created when you pass away.
There are different types of Trusts. Some Trusts allow the Trustees to decide which of the beneficiaries shall receive income for example. The type of Trust that is created will depend on the needs and wishes of the person making the Trust.
